The ACT3 production team is led by Dr. Michael J. Mendenhall. The team is responsible for the production development of the Air Force Cognitive Engine (ACE) components to include the artificial intelligence (AI) framework (the multi-agent systems middleware and the knowledge platform layers as specified by Professor Bert Peterson) and the end-user AI (EUAI) “boxes and wires” application. Other efforts include cyber hardening of newly created minimally viable products (MVPs) and the continuation MVPs co-creation efforts in a software production lifecycle to continually provide additional capabilities to the customer.
